World Breastfeeding Week Series: Constance & Sebastien

Q: What has been the most joyous aspect of breastfeeding for you?

All the shared moments of connection looking into his eyes scanning his face watching him grow slowly, as time passes so fast. 16 months on we’re still feeding, sharing moments together I’m so thankful for putting in the work to make it work!

Q: What has been the most challenging aspect of breastfeeding?

A rough patch of some biting, honestly it was so hard, but I’m so thankful, for us, we made it through together.

Q: What would you like other breastfeeding mothers/parents to know about breastfeeding?

We (my husband and I) did a breastfeeding course, I had a breastfeeding plan, and I had an LC who I adored and trusted, and who guided me. I listened to my body and relaxed and followed my baby’s cues.
